National Bank call centre staff in Auckland and Wellington have voted down the bank’s proposal about the re-grading of their role.
The bank proposed two options to address members’ concerns, but members voted them down 48 to 4. Members felt the proposals did not deal with the fact they had been performing the additional responsibilities for more than a year and are calling for the role to be re-evaluated.
Finsec members have requested a meeting with the bank as soon as possible to form a Grading Review Committee, as provided for in the Collective Agreement.
