Giving the boss a push

Ten workers in China went above and beyond the call of duty, pushing their boss’s car three miles home after a work function. The group from Changchun, in the northeast Jilin Province, pushed boss Zhang Fei home after realising he, and they, were too drunk to drive the car home.

Traffic officers said as long as the car’s engine was not running, the group were not breaking drunk-driving laws. But, they warned other people against following suit, pointing out the dangers of pushing a car, while drunk, through busy streets.
