The dirt on banks

Greenpeace in Australia have launched a campaign to clean up the act of dirty banks. The big four Australian banks (ANZ, Commonwealth, NAB and Westpac) are the biggest financiers of the coal industry in that country.

The campaign calls on the bank to stop financing polluting coal power and instead shift investment to renewable energy, and encourages customers to take a stand to address the role of coal in global warming.
