What will the quake mean for bank workers?

Finsec delegates in Christchurch are meeting next Thursday for a briefing on the support services available to members and to discuss the impact of the quake on issues at work such as targets.

Speaking at the meeting will be Christchurch East MP Lianne Dalziell, CTU Earthquake Response Co-ordinator Marty Braithwaite, and Finsec Campaigns Director Andrew Campbell.

“Members have been positive about the response to the earthquake to date. However, now that things are returning to some degree of normality it is important that we get together to see if there are issues that are emerging and plan how we respond to them,” said Andrew

If you are in Christchurch please make sure that at least one member from your worksite is able to come along. The meeting is at 5.30pm on Thursday 7 October, at the Trade Union Centre on Armagh St. Ring 0800 FINSEC to RSVP or email diane@finsec.org.nz.
