ANZ National and Westpac bargaining news update

In an update on Finsec members’ major bargaining at ANZ National and Westpac…..
ANZ National members are currently participating in an indicative vote on the bank’s offer (if you haven’t voted yet, get busy!), while members at Westpac are looking forward to a second round of mediated negotiations next Wednesday.
Westpac Union Council Chair Maxine Mullen says her bargaining team have told the bank that “we do not give them permission to pass on what we negotiate to non-members. It is just unfair that we do all the work, pay the fees to keep the union running and campaigning, and we are then undermined by passing on.”
A serious message to non-members at the bank that if they want to be sure of getting the negotiated increase and other benefits they need to join Finsec now!
