Burnt toast causes transport havoc

Burnt toast in the tea room has done more than the usual damage of ponging out the tea room at Kings Cross St Pancras Station in London.
The station was closed for 20 minutes, disrupting passengers including those traveling to Europe on the Eurostar, twice in March and April. Officials were red-faxed after investigations discovered the alarm was triggered by staff leaving toast unattended in the station staff room.
