PSIS improve their offer – Finsec members to vote

A second round of bargaining with PSIS this week resulted in improvements to their offer while still falling short of what Finsec members were seeking.

Improvements made were:
•    Increasing the pay offer from 2.75% to 3%
•    Agreeing to provide appropriate relief coverage for unplanned absences in excess of 3 days
•    PSIS agreeing to progress fair pay with the finance sector with a remuneration specialist (but neither party committed to implement its findings)
•    Increase of union only payment to Finsec members in exchange for agreement to pass on the settlement to non-members

A vote is being held on the new offer next week.
