Campaign for a living wage

Finsec is supporting a big push to get signatures on the petition to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour. Look out for a petition at your Better Banks meetings – and there will be lots of other opportunities for Finsec members to support this very important campaign.

Finsec Campaigns Director Tali Williams said that while it was great that Finsec members are not having to support their families on the minimum wage, thousands and thousands of workers are doing just that. “It would be great if every Finsec member could sign the petition and get a couple of friends or family members to do the same. The minimum wage needs to be raised to be a living wage.”
