A crunch year for workers

CTU President Helen Kelly talked to the Finsec Conference about how 2010 would be a crunch year for workers. Challenges included rising unemployment (and government’s insufficient response), reviews of various aspects of employment law, and cuts to ACC.

Kelly also discussed how unions were changing to adapt to the changing workforce, and measures the CTU was considering to ensure that all workers have real access to trade unions, regardless of where they work.
