Guess who?

“Over the past year, we’ve also heard directly from several frontline financial services employees about their working conditions and industry practices. We know from our conversations that existing industry practices incentivise frontline financial workers to push unneeded and often harmful financial products on consumers. We need to ban the use of commissions and quotas that incentivise rank-and-file personnel to act against the interests of consumers in order to make ends meet, or simply to keep their job.”

Is this quote
A) Finsec deputy president Maxine Mullen speaking at the launch of our Fair Lending proposals?
B) Finsec general secretary Andrew Casidy speaking at the parliamentary banking inquiry?
C) Service Employees International Union Secretary-Treasurer Anna Burger testifying before the United States House Financial Services Committee at a hearing on the proposed US Consumer Financial Protection Agency?

Of course, the answer is c, but this could come straight from a Finsec representative. Goes to show, all over the world our issues are all the same and it’s a small world after all!
