Your chance to ask Finance Minister Bill English a question

Finsec members have a rare opportunity this month to put questions directly to, Finance Minister and deputy Prime Minister Bill English.  A group of Finsec members from the major banks will be meeting with English in a few weeks, to put your questions to him.

Bill English has agreed to meet with a delegation from Finsec to discuss important issues raised from union members around the country.

The meeting will focus on the financial crisis and the implications for the New Zealand finance industry, and what we can do to make sure New Zealanders have better banks. This meeting will form the basis of the lead story in the upcoming issue of the Finsec newspaper, Flash.

We need your questions to put to the Minister. If you have any questions about the recession, government policy in relation to our sector, or how to protect the finance industry, send them to us and we’ll ask him on your behalf! Send your questions to by Monday 16 February and we’ll put the best ones to the man in charge of our tax dollars.
