Great minds around the world are putting energy into how to fix the worldwide credit crisis. But one of the best ideas we’re heard is from the Daily Show’s Jon Stewart, who says, why give the money to banks? Why not give the squillion gazillion dollars directly to consumers, with the proviso that they need to use the money to pay back debts they have to the banks. Citizens pay off some debt, banks get more money, everybody benefits. Genius!!
