No to 4%? How about 17%?

ANZ National’s refusal to budge from their 4% wage offer seems even worse when compared to recent pay rises achieved by our sister union in Malaysia, the National Union of Bank Employers (NUBE). NUBE covered banks in Malaysia have agreed to give a 17% pay rise to about 32,000 staff. In New Zealand, pay rises of that magnitude are usually limited to CEOs…..
