ANZ National negotiations bring no significant change

Esmeralda Searing (Bing)Finsec members held a second round of collective agreement negotiations with ANZ National on Tuesday. At those negotiations the Finsec negotiating team sought movement from the bank on the key issues prioritised by members; a higher percentage increase, a pay increase for all staff and a one year term. The bank declined to improve its offer in any of these areas. The bank did change the terms of settlement by including a commitment to meet with Finsec elected representatives three times a year during the term of the agreement. Finsec will now be running paid stop work meetings starting from next Monday, 20 August, for members to vote in a formal ratification ballot on the offer.
