Has BNZ been watching the Westpac deal?

End the targetsThe Herald and Radio New Zealand both covered the Westpac settlement over the weekend with the Herald noting that the deal means most workers will be paid the same as workers at ANZ National Bank, historically the highest payer of workers in the industry. And Radio New Zealand covering Finsec’s concern that the BNZ now stands out as the largest bank in New Zealand that still links selling debt products to its customers as part of its staff’s core pay system.
