Workers from Australia, Scotland, England and New Zealand gathered in Glasgow this month to discuss working for National Australia Bank (which owns the BNZ as well as Yorkshire Bank and Clydesdale Bank in the United Kingdom). NAB Chief Executive, John Stewart, heard from his workers that his banks have the same problems of staffing shortages, unrealistic targets, too much unpaid overtime and performance management issues all over the world.
